My name is Mackenzie Desjardin. For my 21 years of life thus far, I have grown up living and breathing Disney, because I have the privilege of having a travel agent as a mother. Now that I am emerging into the world as an adult, I am following in her footsteps.

My Story
From my first steps to my present everyday life, I've been surrounded by Disney. Living in California, I'm lucky enough to be close to the original Disneyland Park. My first visit there was at roughly 9 months old, just a sweet toddler. Remarkably, my first Disney cruise was not that much longer, at only 2 years old. Fast forward to 2016, at 19 years old, I was able to break free from the home land and experience a foreign Disney park— Disneyland Paris (pictured on the right).
In fact, one of my earliest memories is on that first cruise. The Disney Wonder in 1999, not long after the ship was first launched. It was a short 4-night itinerary in the Bahamas. I distinctly remember being help up on my father's shoulders as a deck party is happening around me. I remember the music, the fun, Pluto dancing on stage, my mother taking pictures— there was so much excitement for little 2-year-old me.
This puts the kind of magic that Disney delivers in perspective for me; because now I know they really do make memories that last a lifetime.
